When I left Australia in March, I left behind a string of swelteringly hot days for wintry Boston, where, for six months, I would be a Visiting Scholar at the Center for Women’s Health and Human Rights at Suffolk University to work on the initiative Our Bodies Ourselves Today.
Thanks so much to those of you who were able to join us on May 10 to celebrate 50 years of Our Bodies Ourselves for making the evening such a success. What an event! At least three generations of feminists came together to celebrate the legacy of OBOS and look forward to the future of women’s health activism.
OBOST is organizing in Somerville, MA as part of the national #StoptheBans Day of Action! Join us in Davis Square, where we’ll be taking action together in support of the ROE Act, a bill currently before the MA legislature that will ensure abortion rights are fully protected here in MA, regardless of whatever happens at the Supreme Court.
